The Fort Bend County East Lions Club is a specialty Lions Club serving all of East Fort Bend County, Texas — with a particular focus on First Responders, Veterans, and Military families.
A specialty club with a broad heart for community.
The Fort Bend County East Lions Club is a specialty club with a strong focus on supporting military veterans and first responders, recognizing the sacrifices they make for our communities every day.
However, our mission extends far beyond that. We are committed to serving the broader community through youth programs, vision screenings, scholarships, food drives, senior support, community cleanups, wellness initiatives, and partnerships that help meet local needs.
Our goal is to create lasting impact by showing up, building relationships, and serving wherever we are needed most.
Building a club rooted in service, leadership, and impact.
By Erika Gibson, President, Fort Bend County East Lions Club
When we launched the Fort Bend County East Lions Club, the vision was never to simply create another civic organization. The goal was to build a club that truly reflects the needs, heart, and spirit of our community.
Our Story
Founded by a small group of neighbors — many with badges, uniforms, or military IDs of their own — we built this club to serve East Fort Bend, with a particular commitment to the people who never stop serving us.
As part of Lions Clubs International, the world's largest service organization at over 1.4 million strong, we bring global resources to a deeply local mission: meeting real needs across East Fort Bend, and standing with first responders, veterans, and military families right here at home.
Our Mission
To serve East Fort Bend through hands-on projects, scholarships, and community support — with a special commitment to First Responders, Veterans, and Military families, and an open hand to every neighbor in need.
"We Serve."
— The Lions motto, since 1917
Three communities close to our heart.
We serve all of East Fort Bend — and we go the extra mile for the people who go the extra mile for us.
First Responders
Police, fire, EMS, and dispatch — the neighbors who run toward the call. We honor them with appreciation events, equipment support, and family assistance.
Veterans
From WWII to post-9/11, we stand with those who served — transportation to VA appointments, holiday meals, and reintegration support.
Military Families
Deployment care packages, spouse support, and scholarships for kids of service members — because the family serves too.
